Dear Boy Wonder,
If you are reading this, that means you’ve discovered that I’ve been publishing stories about your life since day one. It also means we are in the future and I’m probably too old to care that you’re embarrassed by it.
Regardless, there are some things I want to share with you:
- Your mother is always right. Even when she’s wrong.
- Always ask questions and never stop learning.
- Do the right thing, even when you think no one is watching.
- Love everyone all the time.
I’m not telling you any of this because I am wise but rather because these are the things you taught me in our first year together.
There is no denying that you become more interesting every day. In the years to come, I know you will teach me as much as I will teach you. We’ll laugh and cry but we will grow too. Someday, maybe the day you read this, you won’t be my sidekick anymore but the hero of your own adventures! Nah, you’ll always be the Robin to my Batman.
Your mom and I will always be proud of you and how far you’ve come. We love you Boy Wonder, our own Superhero.
With all my love,
The IncrediDad
